Personal

I hit for power and average. I spray the ball with power all over the field. I play a very solid second base as well as third and  left and right.

I have played many games in the outfield. It is my secondary position because I have trained much more in the infield. I pitched a lot in high school and think it would be fun to pitch again.

I am a fun loving teammate who knows when to become focused and serious in game. I also consider myself to understand swing mechanics very well, so if a teammate asks I will give them some tips.

Career highlights

I was first team all conference at my junior college. At the D1 level, I set the single season batting average record at Seattle University. Team Captain at Seattle University.

Coaching

I have never coached but I have so much knowledge that I would love to impart. I want to coach at some point.

Overseas Goals

I love baseball and I love to compete, I also love to travel and this is the perfect storm.

I am currently in season, so I am in form.

Testimonials

Joey Wong

Seattle University, Assistant Coach

Shane is a very good hitter. He performed very well at the DI level for several years before transferring to NNU. He can handle velocity well and uses the whole field in his approach. Defensively he is very athletic and can play just about anywhere on the field. He does best at 1B and outfield, but can play 2B or 3B if needed. He is a hard worker and good teammate and absolutely loves the game.
