Personal

As a pitcher, Michael features a four-seam fastball, sinker, slider, splitter and curve.  The velocities on his pitches range from the high 80s to low 90s (fastball), the same for his sinker, low 80s (slider and splitter) and high 70s to low 80s (curve).  He can serve as either a starter or reliever.

He was primarily a catcher through the completion of his high-school career, and he can also play first base and right field.  He has good power at the plate.

Michael is a lead-by-example type of teammate with a very strong work ethic.  He is very supportive of his teammates and brings a great deal of energy to the clubhouse and the dugout.  He is the type who regularly shows up early and stays late to practices, always putting in extra work necessary for improvement.  He continues to train regularly and play in competitive leagues to keep his skills sharp.

He also has coaching experience in his background, having worked with multiple development programs and been the junior varsity coach at the high school level.  He would be interested in assisting a club’s coaching staff, as well.
