Personal
My story is not like ones you may have heard. In 2019 I started college and seeing that my college had a softball team, first thing I thought was “play!” but then was quickly reminded of my injury to my labrum. From there I went to the coach and asked about students assistant coaching/managing. She said absolutely, from that day I have been living the dream.
Forward to 2022, still managing and we get a new head coach, one practice he comes up to me and says, “Do you want to play?” My heart dropped. I said, “yes.” After 3 years of not playing. That helped me grow and love the game even more. Moral of this story is to say I have been on both sides of the fence and the game and can bring motivation, hard work, and provide effective coaching to help players grow in the game and in life.
