Personal
I consider myself a traditional lead off hitter, capable of using the whole field. High percentage of QAB’s (Quality at bats), more walks than strikeouts, and very comfortable seeing pitches and going deep into counts. For the type of hitter I am, the most important stat for me is run scored. I focus on getting on base any way possible and scoring runs for my team.
Running a 6.5 sixty, I am quick and have the ability to steal bags. I also believe that I have a higher baseball IQ than most, which is critical while on the base paths.
As a second baseman I have great range and quick hands.
I have played many games in center field and right field throughout my college career, center field was my primary position from Freshman year of High School through my sophomore year of college. Later moving to second base for my junior year. I feel comfortable anywhere in the outfield.
I am a easy going teammate that enjoys playing the game hard, while have fun doing so. Being from Hawaii, it has been fun to build relationships with teammates from around the world.
As a teammate, I’m the type to run through walls for my guys. They will be able to count on me to show up everyday and play the game the right way. I enjoy bring emotion and passion to my game. With that being said I am definitely an energy guy on the field.

Coaching
Growing up in a baseball family, I was exposed to the game from a very young age. My father, being a great baseball player himself, has taught be how to play the game the right way. Over my 20 plus years of playing the game, I have a great understand of all the little things that make players success in the sport. Playing five years of collegiate leave baseball with a former Major League player as a head coach, I believe I experienced some of the best coaching around. Everything I have picked up throughout the years are things that I would love to teach to the next generation baseball players.
Overseas Goals
Being named after Lou Gehrig, baseball has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. After finishing my college career with a NCAA National Championship, I was not ready to hangup my cleats just yet. I love playing the game and if given the opportunity, would like to play it for as long as possible.
Another reason I have chosen to continue my career overseas is due to the fact that I was born and raised on the island of Hawaii, not many people from the island or given the opportunity to see the world. I am lucky enough to use the sport that I love as a way to see the world.
I am currently playing in Extraliga located in Czech, Republic. (March – July)
