Personal
Daniel is currently playing in the First Division of the French League for the Montpellier Barracudas, so he has international experience. He can start or pitch in relief but he is relied on in tight games and used as the Starter against top opponents . The velocity on his 2-seam fastball is in the mid-80s (mph), while his cut fastball ranges in the high 70s, his change-up in the mid-70s and his curve in the low 70s.
He describes himself as being very energetic and possessing a strong baseball IQ.
Daniel also has coaching/instructing experience and can aid a club in this area, as well. He has been a pitching coach at the high school level, as well as with the Bad Hamburg under-12 and under-15 teams and been coaching players for the Montpellier Barracudas from the ages 10-15.
