Personal

I am a power hitting corner infielder with smooth hands on defense and the ability to drive the ball to all fields at the plate. I have elite hand-eye coordination, making me a sure-handed defender and a hitter who can quickly adjust to high velocity as well as offspeed pitches.

I have pitched multiple times for summer ball teams over the past few years. Although I only throw in the low 80’s, my primary pitch is a knuckleball that I am able to locate and consistently get soft contact with.

As a teammate, I have always been looked at as a player-coach. I am not the most vocal leader and I don’t bring loud or intense energy, but I lead by example and have a strong competitive drive. I love hitting and taking ground balls after practices or before games. I always offer up my two cents when it comes to things my teammates are working on. Even if I have already gotten my work in, I’m always happy to help the guys around me, whether that be throwing batting practice, hitting fungos, or just talking things through.

Career highlights

At Dartmouth College, I was a Second-Team All-Ivy third baseman my junior year, batting .331 with 5 HRs, 13 2Bs, and 35 RBIs. I battled injuries and struggled my senior year, but I was offered a spot for graduate school on the Boston College baseball team, where I am currently playing.

Coaching

I am primarily a player but in my limited coaching experience, I have been able to quickly and effectively evaluate the weaknesses of hitters and create individualized drills that allow players to become more well-rounded. I also encourage players to take advantage of their offensive strengths by talking with them about their approaches at the plate.

Overseas Goals

It has always been a dream of mine to continue playing baseball past the collegiate level. Over the past few years I have grown continuously more interested in living overseas and experiencing a different culture. Playing baseball is still my focus and primary intention, but I am hoping that this opportunity will allow me to combine that with a new, unique experience outside of the States.

I am currently playing on the Boston College baseball team.

Boston College, Assistant Coach

I am in the unique position of having coached against Connor and coaching him presently. He’s an incredibly steady player who brings ++ defense at 1B and + defense at 3B. He has a slow heartbeat and never allows any moment to get too big. He works hard, is prepared everyday, and is a diligent worker who understands his game and how he can be successful. I think Connor would be a great addition to any international roster as a player and as a teammate.
