Alex is a gap-to-gap hitter who makes consistent contact. His exit velocity has measured in the low-100s (mph). He has good plate discipline and is good at working walks.

He also has good speed, which makes him an asset defensively and on the base paths.

He is primarily and outfielder but also has experience as a first baseman and relief pitcher. As a pitcher, he features good movement on all his pitches, including two-seam and cutter, change- up and breaking ball.

Alex describes himself as a person who is a “lead-by-example type of teammate who especially locks in during game days. I always am looking for ways to gain an edge in my routines, prep work and mental game, and I constantly seek out opportunities to connect with and aid my teammates, both on and off the field. I always have a smile on my face and try my best to take the positives out of every situation.”

He works out regularly at a training facility to stay in top condition and continually improve his skills.

Alex also enjoys coaching and can assist a club’s staff. He has significant experience as an instructor at multiple training facilities, and he has also worked as a private instructor.

Overseas Goals

Alex wants to extend his playing career by going overseas. He aspires to be a coach and/or front-office person and envisions an overseas assignment as a way to make connections and help impact the game globally.

In addition, he would enjoy the opportunity to see more of the world, meet new people and experience new cultures.
