Personal

Alex is a gap-to-gap hitter who makes consistent hard contact. His exit velocity has measured in the low-100s (mph). He has great plate discipline and draws many walks, getting on base consistently to help his team score and ultimately win.

He also has plus speed, which makes him an asset defensively and on the base paths.

Alex is primarily an outfielder and has professional experience in all three outfield spots. He also has experience as a starting and relief pitcher. As a pitcher, he features good movement on all his pitches, including a two-seam, change-up and breaking ball.

Alex describes himself as a person who is a “leader and lead-by-example type of teammate who especially locks in during game days. I always am looking for ways to gain an edge in my routines, prep work and mental game, and I constantly seek out opportunities to connect with and aid my teammates, both on and off the field. I always have a smile on my face and try my best to take the positives out of every situation, and I am incredibly passionate about growing and sharing the game of baseball worldwide ”

He works out regularly at a training facility similar to Driveline Baseball, utilizing data and advanced tools to stay in top condition and continually improve his skills.

Alex also loves coaching and can assist a club’s staff. He has significant experience as an instructor at multiple training facilities, and he also works as a private instructor, giving lessons and camps to kids of all ages with programs specifically designed by him.

Testimonials

Craig Meredith/Earl Caruthers

Optimum Athletes Heads of Hitting Development

Alex brings high energy and work ethic to all of his endeavors. As student of the game and a diligent worker, he has become a tremendous asset to us as both player and coach. We look forward to seeing his success travel overseas.

Dear Prospective Baseball Program:
This is my open letter recommending Alex Dailey for your International Baseball program.
I have worked with and coached Alex for the past year and a half at Optimum Athletes in Sacramento, California. During that time, Alex has exhibited all the qualities necessary to play for your program. He has shown a passion for learning the game and is a very coachable athlete. He has shown that he can hit for power to all fields and hit for average. The thing that I have enjoyed the most, though, is watching Alex go from player to coach. At Optimum Athletes, Alex is my lead hitting trainer. This is where I have seen him convey a variety of hitting approaches and philosophies to our athletes. Above anything are his strong standards of fairness and integrity, and competition. He will always hold himself to a high standard on and off the field.
I am sorry to see Alex leave Optimum Athletes. After seeing him exhibit his potential, the next logical step is to play for your program. For that reason, I recommend Alex Dailey to play for your international program.
I wish both Alex and your program an abundance of success. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have further questions.
Yours in Baseball,
Earl Caruthers,

Alex is a wonderful person who will add to any organization with his attitude, enthusiasm, and effort.
He is great around kids and his ability to play and coach is a huge benefit to the game.
Any group should be thrilled to get him.

Mike Preissl

Schremser Beers Youth Manager/Teammate

Alex Dailey was an important part of the Beers community in the 2023 season. He played a major role in building a youth team. He visited more than 30 schools in the area and introduced students to the fascination of baseball. In the youth training sessions he was able to inspire the young players and spark a euphoria for baseball. At the end of the season there was a youth team with 20 players that could play games against other youth teams.
In terms of sport, he was particularly impressive due to his enormous speed and security in the outfield and his hard hits at bat.
Alex did his job reliably, friendly and with full commitment.
