I have been a standout hitter, power hitting run producer and team leader throughout my college and professional career. This includes an All-Region team selection my senior year, 1st Team All-Conference selections in my junior and senior year of college, and leading the German Bundesliga 2 in every major offensive category category in 2018. I provide standout defence as a catcher and infielder, and can (and did in college) also play outfield which means that I bring a great deal of versatility and value to any team I play on. I take preparation seriously and take pride in showing up and playing hard everyday.
I enjoy coaching, bring a very positive attitude and I believe that players of any age should enjoy the game so that they  keep playing. I love the game of baseball and have a lot of knowledge to share.

In 2018 I had the opportunity to play on a team with my brother, Joe Germaine, a standout infielder and coach of five years international experience, who is also registered with Baseball Jobs Overseas. If possible I would enjoy playing on a team with him again, and I think we would provide great value to any team as we both have a strong work ethic and outstanding playing and coaching skills.

Abilities summary: Above average hitter with plus power, plus contact and high on base percentage. Above average defence as catcher with 1.9 pop time,  above average defence infield with 90 mph throw across the diamond. Average runner with 6.9 sec 60 yd time and good instincts. Led the league in every offensive statistical category in 2018 German Bundesliga 2 and in 2019 was amongst league leaders in most categories. 

BBJO UPDATE:

Billy and his brother played for the IT Sure Falcons in Germany’s first division in 2019. Billy had a big season and made our “Top 25 Batters” list at #12 (view article) after hitting .347 with 7 home runs. His performance attracted a number of teams resulting in Billy signing with the Stuttgart Reds of the German Bundesliga for the 2020 season. Billy continued right where he left off in 2020, but even managed to improve on his numbers in Stuttgart, finished with a ridiculous slashline of of .488/.627/1.116 with 8 more long balls.
