Martin Lerch

NFL, Executive Vice President

I first came in contact with Ray Carolin about 17 years ago when I was VP of NFL Alumni National Office and Ray was a member of our Arizona Chapter.
Ray was working diligently on the chapter fundraiser fulfilling the NFLA mission of Caring for Kids in his home state.

From that time, we have formed a wonderful working and personal relationship that has resulted in the creation of numerous successful events from Youth Football Camps across the country with NFLA and Coca Cola - to delivering shoes, blankets, and milk to refugees in Darfur - to escorting former NFL Stars and Coaches to visit our troops in Baghdad and Bosnia - to rescuing a Bosnian youngster that was critically wounded. His "good deeds" are too numerous to write them all down to you at this time

Ray has an incredible talent to review an opportunity or challenging situation and attack it with confidence and tenacity to complete the effort.
He is a stand-up person who has fantastic contacts (worldwide) and many accomplishments just through genuinely reaching out to those people that he believes can assist him in getting the job completed properly and in a timely manner.

It is my belief that any organization that employs Ray Carolin and assigns him a responsibility or task will not be disappointed and they will be quite pleased with both the effort and the outcome.

Lawrence Schreiber

NFL Alumni - SF Chapter, President

I met Ray when I was the president of the NFL Alumni chapter in SF. We traveled the world together visiting the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Ray went to a couple more counties after our trips. I got to know him on the trips we spent almost two weeks each time. I saw the talent he had in coming up with ideas and putting a presentation together and presenting it.

When we got back from Iraq, I had secured 250,000lbs of vitamin enriched powered milk , and I needed a way to get it there. I called Ray, and with in a week he used his connections and got the CEO of Fed Ex to ship it free to Afghanistan.

I know his passion for baseball is very strong, like it is in helping others. He would be very good in many positions.

Nick Economopulos

Lyman Hall High School, Head Coach

(Summarized from a phone conversation) - "Ray and I have been friends for most of our lives. He is honest, hard-working, and has a large professional network. I would recommend him to any organization around the world.

I have known Ray Carolin for almost ten years. Ray has a varied background that ranges from military service in Vietnam to Secret Service time to being the GM of a minor league team in Indiana. Ray dives headfirst into whatever he pursues. He is an “all-in” kind of guy. Outgoing, genuine, caring, and passionate whether it is baseball or charity work. You will never find a harder worker than Ray who combines that with compassion, as many great leaders do. I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever to recommend Ray for any position with Baseball Jobs Overseas. He will definitely be all-in.
