Personal
Nicholas is a top-of-the-order batter who hits for average and good power to the gaps, with an exit velocity that has reached 100 (mph). He has hit for good averages at the collegiate and independent professional levels in the U.S.
Defensively, his primary position has been shortstop, but he can easily slot in at second base and third base, as well. He has been a consistently good defender in both college and professional ranks.
Nicholas is an above-average baserunner with good speed, having run the 60-yard dash in as little as 6.6 seconds.
He is a lead-by-example type with a very strong work ethic. He is a very high-energy, supportive teammate with a positive outlook, and he understands the importance not only of hard work but of following a routine of proper training, diet, and rest. He works out and trains regularly to remain in top condition.
In addition, Nicholas would be excited about helping a team’s coaching staff. He owns a baseball training facility and has worked regularly with players aged 8 to 18.
