Personal
Lou is a middle-of-the-order left-handed hitter with the ability to pull and also to drive the ball to the opposite field. He was primarily and outfielder in college but was an infielder prior to that, so a club could use him there, as well. During his career, he has played every position but pitcher and catcher.
Defensively, he has a strong arm and positions himself so he can get to balls others wouldn’t. He has a very high baseball IQ and is a good baserunner.
Lou has been very durable throughout his career, having never missed a game because of injury.
He is very communicative with and supportive of teammates. He brings energy and a positive outlook to a club and is always willing to put in the extra work needed for continual learning and improvement.
He continues to play in leagues, while training and working out on a regular basis to keep his conditioning and skills at a high level.

Testimonials
I'm happy to provide a reference for Lou. He was one of the hardest working guys we had over his four years. That work ethic extended from the classroom to the weightroom and to the field. He was always focused and engaged and provided a lot of energy for our team. He got better every year and came in prepared each practice and game. As a player, he was extremely consistent. He rarely slumped, and always had a team at-bat. Lou is a winner. He never gave up one at bat in four years. It didn't matter if it was a clutch at bat or one when we were up or down a lot. He gave the same effort every time. He was a leader and someone the younger guys look to, to set the tone for our team.
