Kyle is extremely knowledgeable with the game of baseball and to be completely honest, I’m sad to see him leaving. Kyle works well with other coaches and has an infectious positive personality that trickles down to kids of all age levels. He does a fantastic job at shifting his coaching style to get the best out of each kid he works with. In our industry, you often see coaches that work better with younger kids or older kids depending on their personality. With Kyle, he is able to cater to each age group and level, which in my opinion, is rare to find. Kyle never missed work or practices and showed up with the same high-level energy each time. Kyle is extremely customer-focused. He has the ability to quickly understand client needs and respond accordingly. Kyle hosted camps and clinics as well as provided individual private lessons for children. Players and parents always left those lessons with smiles on their faces and urgency to schedule their next lesson with Kyle. I could go on and on about Kyle’s baseball knowledge, but what’s more impressive, is his knowledge outside of the game of baseball. Kyle is great at interacting and holding conversations with players and parents in other facets of life, such as education, health, and other areas of interest for players and parents. Kyle’s biggest flaw while working at In The Net was no fault of his own. He was brought on to be our Program Director, while also coaching for our travel teams. Due to the demand of his Program Director job, Kyle was often forced to focus on creating new camps and clinics instead of doing what he’s most passionate about (coaching kids). Even still, Kyle adapted and did a wonderful job with new camps and clinics. I have four children that often came in to visit me at work and despite the amount of work we had on our plates, Kyle treated them like they were his own and made time to play catch or hit with them.
I have had the pleasure of working with Kyle over the last year at the Central Penn Renegades Travel Baseball organization. I currently coach a 16U team with the Renegades. Kyle is very knowledgeable as a pitching instructor, and has helped all my pitchers dramatically. Kyle is able to break down a pitchers motion, and explain it that a 16 year old can understand. Believe me its tough to get a 16 year old that knows it all to understand! Kyle is very upbeat when instructing, and is always positive with my players. He has also helped a few of my players start the college recruiting process. His baseball knowledge is outstanding, and he works very well with my age group of players. Overall Kyle is a great guy, and his love of baseball and ability to teach baseball makes him a good fit for any baseball job.
