Although, I was brought up to be a football player, Baseball has always been my first love. A cousin of mine was the Center Fielder at the local high school and his father invited me to the nearest local league, Taylorsville Little League. Under the direction and coaching of Edo Rottini, “The King of Taylorsville Little League Baseball,” Taylorsville produced two Big Leaguers by the names of Brandon Lyons (Pitcher) and John Buck (Catcher). I had the privilege to train under his direction since the age of eight and have played baseball ever since. I come from a country which breeds football and rugby players. With such few Tongans in the farm system, I feel I have an important calling to expand Baseball in my nation of Tonga!
In the time we have had Mr Lovulo under our training at Action Force Academy he has shown the desire, determination and ability to adjust and learn the game at a higher level. Extremely coachable, listens and processes instructions quick to adapt it to his game. He possesses the rare combination of power and speed, good actions at the plate and defense. His work ethic is second to none and his mentality and approach to the game has grown and matured. He will be a great addition to the team that gives him the opportunity to play everyday.
