My strong point is the speed in my legs and good contact with the ball, I have a good arm to shoot the bases, which is what helps me a lot in my position.

The first positions I learned to play were as a catcher and second baseman, when I signed a professional contract, I had the opportunity to play as an outfielder as well.

Baseball is a team sport and cooperation between players is essential to building a strong team.  Individualistic attitudes and behaviors are not part of the philosophy of the sport.

Career highlights

I signed a contract with the Seattle Mariners and played with them for 3 years, for 8 years I played with the Brazilian national baseball team playing in international championships, including as a bullpen catcher at the World Baseball Classic Qualifier in Panama and the World Baseball Classic in Japan in 2013. In Brazil, I won the national championship 3 times, which is the most important in the country.

Since graduating from physical education college, I’ve been working as a player and coach, this has helped me even more to pass on to my students the importance of teamwork in baseball, of helping each other to have a stronger team together , baseball is a team sport and teamwork is essential.

Overseas Goals

Baseball has helped me a lot throughout my life, it was with the teachings of my coaches that I managed to improve my life.  Being able to evolve even more in this sport in another country is what I want.

The competitions have already started here and I’m competing.
