Personal

I was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2010 by going to a workout in Purcel Oklahoma topping out at 92 mph. Called back 4 days later to go to extended spring. From there going to short season with the Brooklyn cyclones. First year I posted a 1.44 era and started having articles written about me. My 2nd year during the season I had repeated going back to Brooklyn I posted a .91 era and still no promotion. Finished up with a 2.26 era 2nd lowest in our bullpen. Being released in 2014, I played in 4 different indy ball leagues. From there I get a chance to play in puerto  rico where I spent 2 years before signing to the atlantic League which is the top tier league of indy ball.

In 2018 I signed to play overseas for the first time with the Berlin Flamingos of the German Bundesliga 1 North. After playing in Germany, I spent a month in Vera Cruz Mexico before coming home to San Diego to train and get ready for some tryouts down in Florida for the (Atlantic League) and to Arizona for a Rangers workout.

In 2019 I have spent my time training in San Diego and playing on men’s league teams to face hitters and throw off of a mound to simulate in-season games. I also go to a facility so I can get radar readings and perfect my craft. Between that and weight training, stretching, long toss, and regular bullpens, I am in great shape and ready to jump right into a new season.

Below is a complete game I threw in 2018, finishing with 19 k’s vs the Cologne Cardinals (link).

David Wynn II here you go!!! All 19 K’s
