Personal

I most recently played professionally in Japan in the Baseball Challenge League for the Musashi Heat Bears in 2019, where I led the team in OBP with a .556 OBP. I had a very successful college career in the US, where I was a 3x All-Conference selection, 1x All-District selection, cleanup hitter my last two years and team captain my final year. As a catcher I pride myself in my exceptional framing, blocking and game management skills to go along with my 1.9 pop. My ability to manage a pitching staff and unify a team has always put me in leadership roles. My bilingual abilities in Japanese and English as well as years of learning Spanish helped me become personal catchers for Japanese pitchers during my time in America and Latin/American pitchers in Japan. As a hitter I have always been a high average gap-to-gap hitter, hitting over .300 3 out of 4 years in college and being a staple in the line up at 3-6 holes. I pride myself in my high on base percentage, low strike out rates and high average.
