Personal
As a hitter:
I will give my team extra base hits (home runs and doubles). I hit high velocity very well and am a tough out. I’ll grind out every pitch for my team and give the pitcher a headache when he faces me. I’m extremely competitive in the batters box.
As an outfielder: I have a plus arm and can track down a lot of well hit balls in the gaps.
I’ve played every position in the outfield and you could say that they are all my primary position. I’m extremely comfortable playing any of the three positions.
I am definitely a teammate and player that leads by example. I am extremely disciplined when it comes to getting my work done in the cages and getting better every day at the field. I keep a strict diet and workout almost every day. I make sure to stay safe and out of trouble off the field as well. I love a loose environment when playing and try to be that type of player. I want to make sure I’m always having fun when playing this game as we all should be. I love to work in the cages with my teammates while we get better and grow our relationships.
Career highlights
I won the golden glove for center field in my conference at my senior year of high school.
At my Junior college in our 2021-2022 season, we had the longest winning streak in the country out of all of college baseball divisions (D1, D2, D3, NAIA, Juco). This streak was 36 games and our final record was 45-6 going undefeated in conference. I ended up hitting .400 this season facing up against really tough competition. We made it to the state semifinals where I hit the tying home run in the top of the ninth to bring us to the bottom of the ninth. Video of this here:
My first year at Houston Christian University, I hit a 3 run home run in the bottom of the ninth to bring us within one run one Nichols State who ended up going to a Regional.
My second year at Houston Christian University, I hit two home runs in one game against Texas State. As a team that year we beat the #17 ranked team in the country which was the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Coaching
I want to go overseas as a player but I can also help my teammates out on the fundamentals of the game (hitting, fielding, etc). My head coach at Houston Christian University was Lance Berkman so I learned a ton of amazing tools from him. He is the second highest OPS switch hitter in MLB baseball history after all.
Overseas Goals
I love this game with all my heart. After playing my last season at Houston Christian University I realized that I want to keep playing this game for as long as I can. After reading the testimonies of the players who took their talents over seas, I’m convinced that this is a great option. Not only is the fact of being payed to play amazing, but I’m extremely excited to travel the would especially since I’ve never left the United States before. I also love the idea of meeting new teammates and growing bonds with them. I’ve got a lot left in the tank when it comes to this game.
I just got done playing in the MLB draft league. I played for the State College Spikes. I’m now finishing my last semester at school. I’m still working out at our schools baseball facility with some of my past teammates. We’re all hitting, fielding, and throwing so I will be ready to go when my name is called. I am also sticking to a strict workout routine so I stay strong, fast, and explosive.
