I bring a pitch arsenal with a fastball (avg 80 mph, top 84 mph), changeup (73-75 mph) and curveball (66-70 mph). I am a pitch to contact type of pitcher and I trust the defense behind me. I am more of a contact hitter as opposed to power hitter. I like to put the ball in play so I can capitalize on my speed and create offensive opportunities.

I grew up playing middle infield in Minor Ball as secondary positions and became an outfielder at Badlands Baseball Academy in high school. College saw me move to a secondary first base role as I am a versatile player and able to play where needed, when needed.

I am a lead by example type of guy. I am a quiet leader that is great at bringing the team together in all scenarios (in game, in the dugout and in the locker room). I am a positive leader and have the capability to get along with all my teammates regardless of any differences. I am always trying to better myself and my teammates whether by in game learning, extra work and practices. I always bring my all to everything.

Career highlights

The Cannoneers (Jefferson Community College) had been struggling for a few years and my freshman year was a decent year for the team. We improved immensely and I put up decent numbers for my first year in college in a strong NJCAA Division III region.

Overseas Goals

I do not feel that I am finished playing baseball and college may not be the right fit for me. I am very interested in learning new cultures and continuing to play and experience baseball in new ways, while getting to see the world.

Spending 1 year out in the Netherlands has really made me want to get out and travel to see so many other countries and the opportunities these countries have for baseball.

Brandon Noble

Jefferson Community College

Tyler was a great player to have in our program. He did everything that was asked of him, was good off the field and volunteered often. Athletic lefty bat. Can play a solid outfield, stepped up and learned first base this year and did it well. He also pitched a lot for us. I would recommend Tyler as a versatile option and someone you can rely on.

Zack Zinck

Badlands Baseball Academy

Tyler was a great player for us on and off the field. During his 3 year tenure here he was able to become a team leader who other players looked up to. During games Tyler was able to keep things light in stressful situations. Tyler was always in control of the game and had belief in himself that he was gonna have the big hit or make the great play. Overall, coaching Tyler was a privilege.
