In high school I won 3 league Championships, 2 all conference awards, was a District finalist, received an all district honorable mention and batted over .400 my Jr. and Sr. seasons. I signed with Marygrove College’s very first baseball team. I won an all academic award. I held #23 rank University of Northwest Ohio to 1 hit and no earned runs in relief pitching. After Marygrove college closed, I transferred to Rochester College for my senior year and had my best college season. I was named a Sr. team leader only a few months as a part of the program. My batting average nearly doubled as well. Throughout college I had to deal with adversity from bad practice conditions, lack of resources, limited time to practice because of the size of my school along with the stress of studying forensic biology and I still worked hard and overcame all of that. I am  a true team player. I put the needs of the team over my own. I am a leader on and off the field. I lead by example by doing what right, going the extra mile and being knowledgeable and using that to help my team mates. I am very coach-able and always looking to improve my game in all areas. I love learning more and more about the game and sharing and coaching what I know and have learned not only to the youth I coach but other team mates who want to make gains and improvements. These are qualities you cannot coach or will find on a stat sheet, it is a mind set and charter traits I bring to the table.

Abilities summary: Big defensive play maker First basemen, Hits the ball hard and finds a way to get on base, Gets base runners over and or hits them in. Discipline relief pitcher 80-85 mph good movement on fast ball 4 and 2 seam, slider an sinker fall off the table at the last moment. Big team player and leader not selfish the kind of Man you want in your locker room.

Character-wise, Troy is great. Does a lot for the community and loves helping others. He was definitely a leader and took younger guys aside to show them the ropes. On the field Troy’s biggest strength is his power at the plate. He has power potential and when he got consistent playing time towards the end of the season he showed that he could get the job done. He is a also very hard worker and a good learner.
