  1. Trevor Caughey is former 9th round draft pick who spent 5 years within the Baltimore Orioles organization (baseball ref.) and 3 years in independent baseball before taking his career overseas where he has spent the past 7 years, including a championship in 2013 with the Perth Heat.

Now in his 17th year of professional baseball and having played in Europe and Australia for a number of seasons, he is looking to once again return to Europe for the 2019 summer.

Trevor is a starting pitcher who specializes in going deep into games, and is no stranger to throwing complete games. His mid 80’s two seam fastball has good movement and is complimented by his curveball which has hard downward action (“slurve type”) and his changeup with good sink which he can throw in any count.

Trevor is also passionate about coaching and has been a player-coach for a good portion of his overseas career, typically in the role as the pitching coach when in Europe.  He has also developed into a good two-way player with the opportunity to also hit and play position with most of the European clubs he has played for.

Trevor will soon be 34 and brings with him a ton of experience and baseball knowledge but still has a lot of game which he continues to prove year-after-year by putting up good numbers wherever he goes.

He is looking to continue with his overseas career as an ambassador of the game while also continuing to have amazing experiences through meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. He is open to the possibility of a longer term fit somewhere if there is a good fit.
