Personal
First off, as a player I had the best baseball coaches there could possibly be from travel ball all the way to college ball; Dana Blalock, Sam Blalock and Rich Hill. So I learned an incredible amount from them as how the game should be played.
As a player, I was a high school 2-team All-American at Rancho Bernardo High School, signed a full scholarship to the University of Texas Longhorns, transferred to the University of San Diego Toreros where I was a 3-time 1st team All-Conference player, and was drafted by the Boston Red Sox 2 times.
My coaching style follows a combination of all 3 aforementioned coaches; focus on mechanics with repetion, play the game the right way, play the game with passion, stay relaxed and stay within one´s self, and have fun while playing!
