Waco Storm Baseball, Kansas City Royals, Player/Coach

Todd has been one of my closest friends for a long time, 20+ years. He's honest, tells it like it is, and loves the game of baseball. He's by far one of the best hitting teachers I've ever seen, not just because he could hit, but can explain it in a way that players understand and relate. Beyond that he's always had a tremendous work ethic on and off the field.

Curtis Pelletier

Victoria Harbourcats, Coach

I have known Todd for a little over 2 years now. We have coached together the past 2 summers in The West Coast League and work close in studying and learning new techniques and theories in the off season. . We’ve become really great friends through our time coaching together. Todd is our head coach and a phenomenal one at that. He lead us to the Championship game last season in his first year as head coach, and along the way setting 10 new offensive team records.

Todds ability to relate with players as well as lead is second to none. Todd’s passion for playing the game right and teaching the game right is something I have been fortunate to be around. Todd and I embraced analytics and technology bringing in all kinds of new data driven development in 2019. He’s a hands on guy always ready for early work.. he really held me accountable as our hitting coach, and we have great plans for 2020.

The best thing about Todd is his easy going personality. He is able to stay calm when needed, he gets fired up when he has to, and he’s honest and forthright with all the players, coaches, and media.

Todd played for some of the best managers of all time, and you can see that he took a lot from all those great coaches. I consider myself very lucky to work with Todd, and call him a good friend,

Ty Harrington

Texas State University, Head Coach

I was a teammate of Todd’s at Univ of Texas but also grew up in the same hometown of Waco. There are several very impressive things that I can and will say about him as a Person first. He is a remarkable, Honest, Intelligent, Loyal , Professional , Caring, and one of my favorite description is that he is an over achiever ! Everything that Todd has done in his life Personally, Professionally , Socially, he has done successfully. He approaches everything he does with a Winning Attitude and finds a way to create a Winning culture around him. He has an incredible positive spirit around him that is infectious to others.
His Baseball IQ is in the higher percentage of Baseball people, he is a tremendous student of the game and his continual search for new knowledge about the game has created a wealth of knowledge. He has great understanding of the level of Athleticism,Talents, and Attitudes that it takes for Baseball players to perform at the Professional level.
I would hire Todd to be a part of anything that I was doing because I know what kind of Man, Husband, Father , Friend and Winner he is . This opportunity would give him a chance to continue his passion for the game and also do an unbelievable job for any organization.
