I have been highly impressed with Tanner since his arrival in Brisbane , Australia . This is his first year out of college and his first year travelling abroad and has fitted in seamlessly . He has been fantastic off the field , fitting in with our culture here at Redcliffe Padres and is very popular amongst his team mates . He has also taken on the roll of coaching our Senior League ( under 17 ) Div 1 side , has done numerous pitching clinics with our jnr athletes and also is very enthusiastic about our ground and mound maintenance . Tanner has also held a full-time job with long hours and long travel each day .
On top of all this his pitching has been outstanding this season . He is a large reason why we are currently sitting 2nd on the ladder with 6 weeks to play . He is leading our pitching staff with a 2.4 ERA with 6 wins in 70 innings pitched with 70 SO . Tanner has a mid to high 80's FB and also boasts an exceptional change up and slider . He throws all of these pitches with exceptional control . The quality of his change up makes his FB seem harder and has bamboozled quality , seasoned hitters all season with his change up . Tanner also holds his own when asked to hit or play 2nd base for me .
Tanner's work ethic is second to none and I have no hesitation in recommending him to any club that is interested , whih his ability on and off the field he would be an asset to any club that picks him
