Takashi is an elite top of the lineup bat with big power and ability to get on base. In 2023 with the Sénart Templiers, he finished with a league leading .574 OBP & 35 runs scored while adding 13 doubles and 2 HRs. His Sénart teammate Jake MacDonald says about Takashi, “I have played in the Australian state leagues myself and I am certain that Takashi would excel in any league he plays in. I would expect him to be one of the league’s best wherever he lands.”

For the majority of his career, Takashi has been a center fielder with some experience at the corner outfield positions. He is an elite level defender with a strong arm and plenty of range in the outfield. In 2023, he got a taste of 3B where he became familiar with the position. While Takashi has the ability to play the infield, he is best used as an outfielder.

Takashi is the type of player that you want to have as a teammate. He is a quiet leader that leads by example with an exceptional work ethic and positive attitude. While he tends to remain fairly quiet at the ballpark, he is always there in support of his team and is willing to do whatever it takes to win a ball game.

Career highlights

  • French Division 1 All-Star 2023
  • French Division 1 League Leader 2023: OBP, Runs
  • French Division 1 Top 3 League Leaders 2023: AVG (.392), SLG (.658), 2Bs (13), Total Bases (52)

While Takashi has little coaching experience, the kids in France loved working with him in 2023. He has a knack for getting along with kids and helping them develop despite the language barrier.

Sénart Templiers, Teammate

I played with Takashi in 2023 with the Sénart Templiers and couldn't recommend him highly enough. He was by far and away one of the best hitters in the league, with the ability to do everything. He hit for power, he would have long at-bats and grind out walks, he would steal bases.

Having played in the NSW state league last year and having played with Takashi this year, I have no doubt that he would crush any state league that he plays in.

He is the type of guy that you want in your lineup if you are going to win a championship.
