Personal

I am a very talented hitter. I can hit for both power and average. I consider myself a middle of the order bat that can produce runs. Defensively I am very solid at all the corner positions. I would consider myself a plus defender at first base and third base. 7.1 runner.

Have started about 30 games in the outfield between college and summerball. I am originally a first basemen and am moving over to third base this year so very comfortable in those spots. Our coach preaches versatility as players so I find myself comfortable in all the corner spots and have in game experience in all those spots.

I am a high energy guy in the clubhouse love to keep everyone up beat. I find that team camaraderie is essential to winning. I would say my leadership style is lead by example. I always try to bring my best everyday and bring a postive attitude no matter the obstacles. I find people follow your actions not your words, and that your words mean nothing if their isn’t action behind them. I am always avabiable to my teammates if they need my help or advice with something.

Career highlights

Tied for single season homerun record. 18 HRs,  .311 AVG, .401OBP,  596 SLG, .996 OPS Junior year. Team tied our single season wins mark last year. Won the Iron Bobcat award to the teammate that best exemplifies the values of Quinnipiac baseball.

Overseas Goals

I want to continue to play baseball and if the oppurtunity to sign with a minor league club doesn’t happen after this year I want to go overseas. I want to experience different cultures while also playing the game I love at a high level. My goal would be to be a part of a winning team and win a championship with them.

Sebastian and I have talked about my time overseas playing, and he expressed interest to me about wanting to do that. I know he is wanting to do it after our season ends, or play in the winter.

He is a great kid, works hard, and someone who is very genuine. Probably the most enjoyable kid I have ever coached. So he is certainly someone I would highly recommend to any team.

Mike Murray

Saint Joseph High School, Head Coach

I was Sebastian's varsity baseball coach for four years as well as his Director of Athletics during his four years at St. Joe's. I have been coaching at St. Joe's for 8 years, and can say unequivocally, Sebastian would be a huge asset and add for a club. Sebastian is in the Top 3 players, people, and families that I have had the privilege of coaching. He is mature, funny, grounded, a hard worker, and will soon be a favorite player of fans of whatever team and city he lands in. He'll be a middle of the order hitter, but more than that the type of athlete you would want representing your organization in placing players. Seb lost his senior year in HS to COVID, and more than any baseball-related impact that had on my program, I was upset my younger players didn't learn how to go about their business the way Sebastian day. I know most references are designed to highlight the good in a player and person, but it is not very difficult at all to find that with Sebastian, he is an easy fit. Happy to discuss him at greater length with whoever needs!
