By far one of the best mates I meet in my 5 years overseas. He brings great character and work ethic. Definitely a guy you’d want around kids and also have been working closely with children that has disabilities which takes a certain character to do!
I’ve played with Sam for over 3 seasons now in Adelaide, south Australia! Sam has become one of my best friends on and off the field due to his kind, funny and loving nature! He’s one of the best natural hitters in the state and holds his own in the field! He is a role model to the juniors of our club as he goes the right way about every aspect of the game and never shows frustration even if he may be struggling a bit which is a good skill to have. He’s a strong leader who ensures no one is left out or feels like they are being ignored! I’m positive that he will be a huge asset to any team he may play for! He’s just an all round good guy and a very talented baseball player!
Sam is a young energetic player who is loved by his teammates. He has as addictive personality which definitely raises the moral in the dugout. Offensively Sam Hit from the Left Side and hit for average with some good power also. Sam has a great knowledge of his strike zone and rarely swings outside it. He is always a tough out and doesn’t strikeout much, Against higher level pitching he rises to the occasion and can foul off good pitches to extend counts. Sam is a great hitter for any club level Team. Defensively he is best suited to 2b or 1b. He has a very good glove and can turn a double play. For a team with a strong middle infield already he would make a good hitting option at 1b.
