Personal

My name is Ryan Rodriguez, a first baseman and corner outfielder from Sacramento, CA. I have two and a half years of Professional Baseball experience and am currently training in New Jersey for the up and coming 2020 season. I have had the pleasure of growing up on the field, as my dad Rick Rodriguez, former Big Leaguer, and current coach for the Oakland Athletics AAA Affiliate, has allowed me to experience what it is like to be around the game day-to-day. You will likely notice my 2017 stats are not like the rest of my years of play. Unfortunately, I was in a freak accident where I was hit by a pitch and broke my leg. I have worked very hard to revamp my body and swing, and after my first full season back since 2016, I am now back to 100 percent. I am looking for an opportunity to earn an everyday role with your club. Please let me know what I can do to make this happen. Thank you for your time.

It is my pleasure to highly recommend for admission into your organization, Ryan Rodriguez. It was evident from my first experience with Ryan, that he possesses a strong inner-fiber, drive and thirst for success. Ryan is strong academically and was engaged in several campus organizations during his stay at CSU Chico. Ryan’s quick acclimation to Chico State’s campus showcased his level of maturity and attention to detail. Ryan is designated a special student not solely on the merits of his scholarship or community involvement, but because of his motivation and his thrive to be a part of a team. Ryan’s talents are showcased in many areas including, but not limited to compassion, community, character and academics. Ryan has showcased his commitment for compassion by the way he treats his peers, co-workers and colleagues throughout his experiences. Ryan’s contributions will have added substantive value to your organizations and I believe that he will become a much better individual by exposure to the work your organization does in the community and in the lives of countless individuals across our country. Ryan, as a transfer student has shown himself to be a great student, with a strong GPA, intellect and the ability to engage in dialogue with relative comfort on a myriad of subjects. By showcasing his academic prowess, Ryan has proven that he can multi-task and manage several roles while ensuring that his academic progress is not impacted. I was thrilled to have him as member of our community and now am even more honored to recommend him for this opportunity. I hope this letter further illustrates what things you may have already discovered about this strong student and that you will strongly consider him for admission into your organization.
