Royce is a strong defender in the outfield, with a great first step to the ball, above-average speed and excellent range. He also has a lot of experience as a middle infielder, so he offers versatility to a club. His speed is an asset on the base paths, as well.
At the plate, he makes consistent contact and has a good eye.
As a junior-college player, he was also the team’s closer, so he could pitch, if necessary.
Royce can help a club in a variety of other ways, as well. He has coaching experience and would be able to assist a club’s coaching staff. He has a degree in creative writing and also could help with social media or community relations.
He is a very vocal, supportive teammate who consistently puts in extra work. He is a personal trainer and also works out and trains regularly to be ready to play at any time.
