Personal
Peter is primarily a pitcher – either starter or reliever – but he can also play the outfield and can hit, so he adds versatility to a team.
As a pitcher, the average velocity on his fastball is from the high 80s to low-90s (mph). Other pitches ranged from the low 80s (slider) and mid to high 70s (change-up). Peter believes the change-up is his best pitch.
Peter is very athletic, having played soccer for many years, as well as American football, and these skills aid him in the outfield, where he displays speed and a strong throwing arm. He played outfield much of the time in Western Australia.
Peter describes himself as one who will always “be at the field for early work such as running, medicine balls and long-toss. I was never the loudest guy in the dugout, but I’ll get to personally know every player throughout the season. I understand the importance of fostering strong personal relationships with my teammates. I have gotten asked to come back by both clubs I played for in Western Australia and the Czech Republic.”

Coaching
Peter would also be interested in assisting the coaching staff of a club.
He says, “As a coach, I focus on making sure that players are, first and foremost, confident in what they’re doing. That is my best asset as a coach. I believe that as long as you stick to your routine and you know it is best for you, having that edge of confidence will be the difference.”
Overseas Goals
Peter wants to extend his playing career while experiencing new places. He says, “It’s great to experience living in another country. I enjoy meeting people from other cultures, and I love becoming friends with people who have a different way of life. Many of my best friends I still talk to today were people I met playing in Perth and in the Czech Republic.”
Staying in Shape
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Peter has taken the opportunity to rest his arm and get his body into the best shape possible. He is competing in weekend leagues as both a pitcher and hitter to keep his skills sharp.
