Left-handed gap to gap hitter. The perfect 1-3 hitter who makes tons of contact, hits for average, constantly gets on base, and does not strike out often. I am an above-average runner who will steal many bases throughout the season. In the field, I am a full utility player who can play any position on the field besides pitcher. During my time in college, I played primarily infield due to recovering from a shoulder injury. But now healthy I am able to catch and play the outfield again.
Being a good teammate is something I can truly say is my best quality. I have always been a team before individual stats or rewards guy. I will sacrifice whatever it takes for the team to win and get better. I am a natural leader on the field who leads by example. I am a guy who will stay late to hit, take some ground balls, or get a lift in with anyone who asks me to.
I have experience at every position on the field. I spent most of my life as a catcher and became a utility player (primarily infield) after injuries. Catching and outfield would be considered secondary positions for me but I see them as primary as well because I have a lot of experience all over the field and would be uncomfortable in any position. As a catcher, my pop time is consistently around 2.0, and have been catching my whole life. I consistently made starts at catcher in my time in the South Florida Collegiate League. I have recently made many starts in the outfield while playing in the USAB spring training classic. My speed and athletic ability make me very comfortable in the outfield.
My goals for wanting to take my career overseas is to experience new cultures, make new relationships, and experience the game I love in a way I never imagined I could. I am looking to help a team in any way I can.
What I have done to stay sharp and in shape is training every day with a long-time professional baseball player and coach Victor Gutierrez. I also train with many professional and college ballplayers. Training with high caliber players keeps me sharp and ready to play. I have also been playing games in very competitive Men’s tournaments to keep myself in game-shape not just in good practice shape. I am currently in the best shape of my life and never been more ready to play.
- Extend my baseball career
- Experience new cultures and meet new people
- Use my knowledge and experience to help grow the game globally
