Personal
My name is Nicolas,
I’m a pitcher throwing for the France National Team since 2016. I’ve been used to be starting pitcher and have experience as reliever and closer this season in Japan professional league.
I’m throwing fastball , curve , slider and split , my average time to the plate with runner on base is around 1.3s
Average fastball around 88mph , topped 89mph last winter in Australia
I have experience in French baseball Division 1 and French baseball academy which is basically the same system as US college , lot of high level games with French national team.
More recently I played in Australia, Adelaide state league and Hokkaido frontier league.
Playing and practicing in the professional system in Japan gave me an absolutely amazing experience and lot of new skills which will be helpful for whoever wants to sign me
I’m a fitness trainer and conditional trainer so I’d be able to help my teammates with conditioning as well.
I have also coached kids for the past 7 years, I like helping with the youth practice on the field and be their coach and model during the season.
Career highlights
I’ve been practicing 2 years at the pôle espoir of Rouen and 2 years at the pôle France Toulouse which is basically the same system as a college program.
I’ve started my 6th year in French D1 and got my spot as a starter, even among all import pitchers in the championship.
I played for the u15, u18 and senior national French team, as a pitcher every time.
I did play 3 months in summer league baseball in USA back in 2017 which gave me lot of experience too
Adelaide state league and practicing with ABL team , games against top Japanese Academies
Professional season in Hokkaido Japan
Coaching
I’ll be able to bring new points of view, things I learned when I was growing up, and ways to help kids to reach their dreams. I want to teach them everything I know.
Overseas Goal
One of my biggest goal was to play pro ball in Japan , now I’m focusing on getting better so I can help the French national to bring more medals.
To do that I’m looking to play 2025 in a good Canadian baseball league so I keep challenging myself and get more experience before the next European championship and WBC Qualifier.

Kirk McNabb
I've coached Nicolas for the past 2 seasons in France. His in-game and pitching aptitude have improved immensely over the last 2 years because of his dedication to his craft through day to day practice, video reviews and ongoing conversations about the mental and physical sides of pitching. I use him regularly as a Starting Pitcher and Relief Pitcher, so that he is prepared for either situation at all times and as necessary. He is ready mentally as well to take on a baseball adventure wherever it takes him and would be an asset to any team looking for a SP or RP. Don't hesitate to contact me at kirk@dirtbagbaseballnation.com.

Nicolas is a strong athlete with work ethic and devotion.
Nicolas Antoine has improved every year since the National Academy in France and his couple of seasons now with La Rochelle.
We are excited to have him potentially on our National French Team 23U and senior team for 2023.
Nicolas has a good sense of pitching and his arsenal can work at the highest level in Europe and overseas.
His adaptation to the environment is easy, he is a great teammate and can be a leader by example.
Great pitcher but also great person with respect and resilience.

As a pitching coach for the French National Team I have had the privilege of working a lot with Nico. I can honestly say I haven't worked with many players who are more hungry to learn and enhance his game. In just 2 short years through his hard work and passion to reach his potential, I have seen him become a game changing starter and reliever in French D1. Not only has he developed the physical skills to perform well on the mound but his mental game has significantly improved allowing him to thrive in high stress situation.
Outside of his own game, he is always happy to help teammates or young players improve their game. He uses the knowledge attained from his National Team experience and years in elite baseball academies to help grow the game of baseball not only in France but on an International stage as well.
Being young and continuing to grow as a ball player, I believe any team willing to give him a chance will find they acquired a player who continues to perform at a higher level with every new season.

Additional Testimonials:
Forrest Crawford, La Rochelle Boucaniers Player/Coach:
Over the last 5 years in La Rochelle with the Boucaniers I have known Nico in many stages of his development as a player and young man. Depending on the year I’ve been his coach and also his teammate. We have been through hard times and great success together with our club.
One of the best successes was recently this season in our first game against Rouen (historically the top team in french baseball) where he went the distance and pitched a 9 inning complete game shutout, historically a first for a french pitcher vs. Rouen. I was his shortstop in the game and have never wanted to win a game so bad for my pitcher. Rouen was also the baseball academy where we recruited him from– this start meant alot. Nico won that game with his abilities, physical development, mental, but most of all with his heart. It was an incredible performance and a pleasure to be a part of.
Nico is a talented pitcher with velocity, and has developed 4th and 5th pitches since we known each other, he is a smart picher, he knows how to take hitters apart mentally. Nico knows the value of respect, is a great team guy and natural leader. I believed in Nico from the day we recruited him, his ambition and determination to be great is impressive, and motivating. I look forward to following his career overseas–Nico will go far.
