I have played baseball at different levels and in different states in America. This has given me a greater perspective and understanding of different cultures and people within the game of baseball. I can play outfield, pitch, and play first base. As a teammate, I get along well with others and will never be a problem player on any team. I work harder than anyone I know at taking care of my body, working out, and improving my skills as a player.
In summary, I feel my unique experiences as a player will serve me well as I go abroad. I have played against some of the best teams in America like Vanderbilt, UCLA, California State Fullerton and Long Beach and have played well. Everything aside, I love this game.

Abilities Summary: I typically sit 87-90 and have touched 92mph. I throw a slider, curve, and changeup. My most recent 60 dash was a 6.8 time. I have good instincts as a base stealer. I have hit for solid power and consistently hit the ball hard hitting 18 doubles and 5 homers this past season. I field well and cover solid ground. I would say I have a good all-around skill set across the board.

Robert Ruiz

Westmont College, Head Coach

Nick is an incredible worker with a very high level skill set as both a position player and pitcher. In his one year in our program he made a significant impact and contribution. He is a skilled player with a great mind for the game. He is also a committed teammate who built strong relationships quickly and improved the chemistry in our dugout. He is a hard throwing reliever with an out pitch that will play at most levels. He throws a heavy fastball with late life. As a position player he is a game changer with the bat and plays a solid corner outfield. He led our team in walk off hits and was a consistent run producer. He will hit for power and average. I give him my highest recommendation and believe whole heartedly that he will add value to any organization that gives him an opportunity.

Tei Vanderford

Cal St. Northridge, Assistant Pitching Coach/former teammate

Nick is one of the hardest workers in the weight room and in the cages I have been around. From diet, strength programs, to the countless hours every day he puts into his swing, he is a guy you definitely want on your team. He also is a great clubhouse guy, always trying to bond with his teammates, and be there for them. Nick also has a very strong academic background. He is in an incredibly bright young man, that comes from a great family as well. His thirst for knowledge in the classroom translates to his eagerness to constantly learn and grow on the baseball diamond as well. He will elevate his future teammates, and enhance any team he plays on in the future.

Tony Cougoule

Westmont College, Pitching Coach

Nick was a huge contributor on the mound for Westmont College in his senior year. Throughout the year, in any role, he had the ability to compete in the strike zone with a good four pitch from the left side. Nick features a fastball that has been up to 91 mph with low effort and a lot of arm side run. He can throw a curveball and change up for a strike and uses a slider as a strikeout pitch. Sablock is ultra competitive and wants the ball in the most crucial situations, but what sets Nick apart from most pitchers is his calm demeanor on the mound. He is a great teammate who has fun playing the game and works hard to be the best player he can be. Nick will make any organization better.
