Personal

Upper 80’s with 4 pitches for strikes in any count

I can be a starter, as I can command 4 pitches for strikes and can pitch through a lineup multiple times. But I am also very comfortable relieving/closing as I can get game ready very quickly and am very good at getting out of jams whenever I enter the game. Coaches know that if they put me in with bases loaded and only 1 out, nobody is scoring.

I lead by example and like to be a role model on and off the field. A lot of guys ride the wave depending on how the game is going, I am the exact opposite. I rarely show emotion while I’m pitching, which gives the guys behind me confidence. I help anybody I can, especially with pitching. Since I’ve had to learn the in’s and out’s of pitching, I am well versed in noticing different guys inefficiencies and short falls and can help them be a better them. Off the field, trouble fears me, how far I stay away from it. I am the last person coaches expect to have done something, for good reason.

Career highlights

Best ERA on team my last year at JUCO. Became a starter my first year at Central Methodist. Came back from injury early my final year due to eligibility, to post a 3.47 ERA. Led team to playoffs and was the 1st guy out of the bullpen due to the confidence the coaches had in me.

Coaching

As a recent college pitcher, I bring firsthand knowledge of what it takes to compete at an organized, high-level program. I understand the physical and mental demands of pitching, managing a full season, refining mechanics under pressure, and preparing intelligently for each outing. That lived experience gives me an authenticity and credibility with pitchers that’s hard to replicate from the outside.

Overseas Goals

I’ve just finished my college career and my goal is to keep competing at the highest level I can. Playing overseas gives me the chance to keep developing, face quality competition, and extend my career in a real, meaningful way. Whether that’s home or away, I want to be in an environment where baseball is taken seriously and where I can continue growing as a pitcher.

Nicholas “Nick” is a great pitcher. Kid competes in the zone every time he is on the bump. Very high IQ knows how to tunnel his pitches and get tons of GB. He was our main guy out of the bullpen always getting the job done.

Not very high velo as he will sit on mid 80’s but has a very good SNK that tunnels well off the FB and SL. Hardly ever walks a guy and is always working ahead if not getting outs with minimal pitch count. Very respectful kid, will be very coachable as well. Definitely a guy that can eat innings and get soft contact on the ground. Had an injury that kept him off half of this season but came back like nothing ever happen going back to his dominant performances and elite consistency.
