Nathan Green is a utility infielder out of Missouri Baptist, the 9th ranked NAIA baseball school at the end of the 2017 regular season. In his senior year he hit .314 with an OBP of .352 while stealing 9 bases in as many attempts. In fact, Nate has never been thrown out in his four year college career.
After his college career, Nate took his career overseas to play for the Rockingham Rams in the highly competitive Western Australian State League and is now in Sweden where he has mostly been utilized behind the plate.
In addition to hitting for average, Nate also has the ability to hit doubles and home runs as shown by his 10 doubles playing summer collegiate baseball in 2016 and his 3 HR in his senior season. Nate has a strong arm across the infield and is comfortable and experienced playing any infield position and can also play outfield if needed.
He enjoys coaching and would be open to coaching a youth team. The past four summers he has been coaching an 18u academy team in his native St. Louis.
Any club in need of a utility player with a top of the order bat and an ability to help with the youth program should reach out to Nate for an interview.
