Nathan Green is a utility infielder out of Missouri Baptist, the 9th ranked NAIA baseball school at the end of the 2017 regular season. In his senior year he hit .314 with an OBP of .352 while stealing 9 bases in as many attempts. In fact, Nate has never been thrown out in his four year college career.

After his college career, Nate took his career overseas to play for the Rockingham Rams in the highly competitive Western Australian State League and is now in Sweden where he has mostly been utilized behind the plate.

In addition to hitting for average, Nate also has the ability to hit doubles and home runs as shown by his 10 doubles playing summer collegiate baseball in 2016 and his 3 HR in his senior season. Nate has a strong arm across the infield and is comfortable and experienced playing any infield position and can also play outfield if needed.

He enjoys coaching and would be open to coaching a youth team. The past four summers he has been coaching an 18u academy team in his native St. Louis.

Any club in need of a utility player with a top of the order bat and an ability to help with the youth program should reach out to Nate for an interview.

Testimonials

David Brandt

Head Coach, Karlskoga Bats

As Coach of the Karlskoga Bats I had the privilege of working with Nate in Sweden for the 2019 season. From the beginning he established himself as someone both myself and his teammates could trust to go about his routine in a professional manner. This never wavered as for the entire season he led the Swedish Elite Series in most offensive categories including batting avg., home runs, on base %, and slugging. I enjoyed having him in the middle of our order, yet with his understanding of situational hitting and ability to play multiple positions on the field makes him impressively versatile. On top of his success as a player he is a pleasure to be around just in general. Whether it was during practices, games, or working Karlskoga's youth clinics, the steady, positive energy he brought to the table that kept others up on a daily basis was an example to follow. Certainly a leader in the way he carries himself as both a ballplayer and a human being. Can't go wrong with Nate.

"Nate was ultimate team player, voted captain by his teammates. From an ability standpoint, versatile player, can play anywhere in infield & outfield. Flashes power, consistently makes hard contact. Handles the bat very well and can play the short game if needed."
