Nate is a tall left-handed pitcher who hides the ball well.  The velocity on his fastball ranges from the low-80s to mid-80s (mph).  His repertoire also includes a slider and a change-up. He is fully recovered from the shoulder surgery he underwent in 2019.

Nick White, Nate’s assistant coach at Menlo College, says, “It took Nick a while to get his velocity back [after rehabbing his shoulder], but he pitched six shutout innings in a game right before the Covid-19 pandemic canceled [the remainder of] our 2020 season, and his velocity was consistent.  Lefthanded hitters, especially, have a hard time picking up his pitches.”

Career Highlights

  • A two-year starter for junior-college team

  • Experience at NAIA collegiate level in U.S.

Overseas Goals

Nate would like to extend his career by playing overseas, and he would enjoy the opportunity to experience new people and environments.   He would like to use his knowledge to help grow baseball globally, and he hopes to gain coaching experience.

Nate was rehabbing shoulder surgery from the end of the 2019 season until January 2020. It took him awhile to get his velo back but right before our season was cancelled from Covid he pitched 6 shutout innings against Linfield college and saw his velo stay consistent. He is a big tall left handed pitcher who throws 80-84mph and was touching 85 once healthy. He hides the ball very well so hitters, especially Lefty’s have a hard time picking up his stuff. Nate has worked incredibly hard since Covid shut down our season and is now healthy and in great shape.

In Junior college his coach called him a bulldog who could be put in any situation, including starter, and he knew he would get guys out and help them win.
