Summary: I attended Vauxhall Academy of Baseball for my senior year of high school, which is considered to be one of the top high school programs in Canada. While attending the academy I was a Team Canada Junior National Team invitee, competing in the fall and spring camps in Florida. I earned a scholarship to play junior college ball at Hill College in Texas, which is considered one of the top regions for JUCO baseball. After my two years in Texas I transferred to CCSU which is a division 1 university in New Britain, CT. During my summers I played for the NB Senior Royals, where I have since played 8 plus seasons, being an integral part of their success. As I developed as a player I continually improved both statistically and as a leader to my teams. In the New Brunswick Senior League I continually progressed, over the course of my career in the NBSBL I was award the triple crown three times, which is the most in the history of the league. I also obtained the single season RBI record in one of my triple crown years, which was previously held by a player for over 10 years.

Jody Peterson

President, Fredericton Royals

Mike is an athletic, hardworking and very talented athlete. His baseball IQ is high and his ability to perform in key situations is as good as anyone to play in our program in the last 20 years. Mike is an all-around 5 tool player with solid defense in either the infield (3B / 1B) or the outfield, has good range, speed and arm. Mike is best known for his offense and has homerun power with an ability to work pitchers, take walks and hit for a high average. He is a middle of the order offensive leader. In addition to his ability as a player on the field Mike brings a lot to our program off the field, leading many of our teams Youth camps, running minor baseball training camps and helping whenever asked. Mike has a background in training athletes for performance and he brings this to our program and shares it with our youth and future players. Mike is a well-known and much respected member of our sports community, I would recommend him as a positive addition to any team and program. Matt Stairs

MLB Veteran and MVP

I met Mike around 10 years ago. We played senior ball together and I was impressed right away at how polite and how much he respected baseball and everything about it. The year I played senior ball with him, he won the triple crown and it was due to his work habits. He was always listening to key pointers in regard to hitting and fielding. His work habits are out of this world. Mike is always the first at the park and taking extra swings or ground balls every day. He comes from a great family who is very important to our community. He's very well respected in the area and always trying to improve. Off the field, he does a lot of camps and is always available in helping out the youth in our area.
