Mikal Hill is an athletic middle infielder who has played highly competitive baseball throughout his career. He was an All-American and one of the top-ranked infielders in the nation in high school. He was recruited by highly prestigious baseball colleges around the country but elected to go the junior college route and signed with Miami Dade Junior College in Southern Florida. After two successful seasons in junior college, Mikal signed with the University of North Carolina, Charlotte which competes in one of the top NCAA I conferences in the nation.
During his summers, Mikal played with the Waterloo Bucks in one of the most competitive college summer leagues in the country, the Northwoods League. With his experience and success, Mikal was planning to play professionally after college; so after the draft did not work out, Mikal decided to take an offer to play independent ball in the Frontier League.
Now Mikal is looking to take his baseball career overseas and become an ambassador of the game around the world. He is a line drive switch hitter with enough pop to hit the occasional homerun. He runs a 6.8 60 yard dash, and takes pride in his defensive abilities. Alongside of playing, Mikal enjoys coaching and would be open to coaching a youth team. Mikal would be a great addition to any team seeking for a middle infielder. He wants to continue playing the game he loves while getting to explore new countries and met different people from all backgrounds.
