Personal

I am an athletic left-handed pitcher that can throw 4 pitches for strikes and can throw back-to-back days. I throw upper 80’s and can get to low 90’s after a few innings. My arm gets stronger as I throw. I mainly pitched in college but provide value as a first baseman or outfielder. I hit decently and can run well and can steal bases well. I love this game and play as hard as I can each time I step on the field.

I grew up playing first base and outfield from the time I was 5 years old. I played those positions and hit until I was a junior in high school. I am fast and have a strong arm and feel comfortable at first and in the outfield. I also feel like i could still provide some value hitting as I was always a solid contact hitter.

I love the game of baseball and would like to be around it for as long as I can. I would say I am halfway between a vocal leader and lead by example. I like to keep the dugout loose and remind everyone that you should be giving it your all but its a game and that we are here to have fun at the end of the day. I am always up to helping out teammates and giving feedback and will always find myself at the field early or after to stay and work on anything me or the guys want to do.

Career highlights

My junior year of high school in 2015 I broke the school record for ERA at 1.17 through 77 innings. We made it to the state finals that year. I was on the All-metro team my junior and senior year.
I was First team all conference my freshman and sophomore year at Palm Beach State College and pitched 106 innings there over 2 years with a 3.3 ERA.
At The University of Tampa I pitched 51 innings with 53 strikeouts and a career 4.2 ERA over 4 seasons.

Coaching

I understand the game at a high level and can really see what people need to do to fix their swing or pitching delivery. I connect well with people and let them know to relax and just try their best nobodies going to be perfect all at once. I love this game and being able to help others makes me feel like im doing what i am supposed to.

Overseas Goals

I would first off like to play as long as I can and still feel like I can play this game at a very high level. I did not throw a lot over these last few years and feel like I still have a lot of room for improvement. My arm gets stronger as the game goes and I think I could still throw a lot of innings.

I have been driving down to west palm weekly to throw live and I currently work at a baseball facility in Orlando where i stay in shape working out and throwing and doing bullpens. I am ready to go.

Testimonials

Kyle Forbes

Head Coach, Palm Beach State College

Michael Demo was an outstanding left-handed pitcher for my team at Palm Beach State College for both his freshman and sophomore years. He had a solid combination of having very good stuff and command of his pitches. Michael was an excellent competitor, and every time he took the mound for us he gave our team a great chance to win. I highly recommend Michael not only as a baseball player, but also as a solid human with great make up. He was an excellent teammate, and we loved having him as a part of our program for his first two years in college baseball.

Assistant Coach, University of Tampa
