Started varsity all four years (pitching and in the field) at a top division high school in Utah. Started in right field freshman year, 2nd base sophomore year, and 3rd base junior and senior year. Posted a 1.67 ERA in 10 appearances my senior year. Was first team all-state my junior and senior year. Helped lead our team to win the state championship my senior year, where I hit a go-ahead home run that ended up being the difference in the game. Played for a quality summer team after my senior year called the Utah Bucks and started almost every game in the outfield/2nd/3rd base.

Started over half of our games in left field, my freshman year at GCC. I didn’t put up great offensive numbers, but played solid defense and had a big impact on a handful of region wins. Sophomore year at GCC I started every game in right or center field. I lead our team in most major hitting categories and was one of the best outfielders in the conference. Ended the season on a 19 game hit streak. Became the teams vocal leader. Was selected 2nd team all-region.

Junior year at CSU-P I started every game in right or center field. Put up almost identical offensive numbers as my soph. year, with more runs scored and extra base hits. Played great defense all year. Ended up being 8th in the conference in runs scored with 50.  Came through in many clutch situations late in ballgames to help the team to a win. Was selected honorable mention All-RMAC.

Was selected for 2018- 2019 pre-season All Region (2nd team) for the South Central Dll region. Did not get to play out my senior season due to an academic eligibility issue. I got to practice with the team for a majority of the Spring and have been staying in good baseball shape since.

Abilities summary: Hits for average with pop. Hits to all parts of the field. Tough out. Not many strikeouts. Threat to drag/push bunt for a hit.
6.84 sixty yard dash time.  Plus outfielder, good first step, routes, and range. Above average arm with good accuracy. Fearless defender. High baseball IQ.
Great base runner. Threat to steal.
Top of the line competitor. Spark plug/ Scrappy/Gamer.

It was a pleasure to have Mason Krueger attend our college for two years. Mason is a very gifted athlete who demonstrated his pure athleticism while competing for us. Mason was able to hit for a high average and also compile good power numbers for extra bases and played all three outfield positions for us. Mason showed a very strong arm from the outfield and he has a very competitive nature about him. Mason comes from a very good family who are all very athletic and competitive and I wish Mason the best of luck in his future.
