Hitting & Offence:  As a line drive hitter, I consistently make solid contact and hit for a high average. My balanced, smooth swing and precise timing allows me to drive the ball sharply into the outfield. This makes me a reliable and effective hitter, contributing consistently to my team’s offensive efforts.

Speed & Fielding:  I possess good speed, which enables me to cover ground effectively both in the field and on the bases. My strong understanding of the game and situational awareness help me make smart decisions, contributing both offensively and defensively.

Versatility:  One of my greatest strengths is my versatility on the field. Primarily a full-time middle infielder, I have also developed into a reliable utility player, recently adding first base to my skillset. I can also be utilized in the outfield if needed, making me a valuable asset to any team.

Teammate Qualities:  I pride myself on being a selfless team player with a positive and energetic presence. I’m not afraid to speak up and motivate my teammates, providing encouragement and guidance when needed. I strive to keep the atmosphere positive and focused, contributing to a cohesive team environment.

I’m always willing to help my teammates, whether it’s working on mechanics or offering advice on game situations. Sharing my knowledge and experience is something I enjoy, and I always put the team’s success above my own.

Adaptability:  I can easily integrate into different team dynamics and cultures, building strong relationships with my teammates. My work ethic and dedication both on and off the field set a strong example for others.

Coaching Potential:  If I were to transition into a coaching role, I would leverage my playing experience to mentor and guide players. My approach would emphasize fundamentals, situational awareness, and teamwork, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for player development.

Overseas Goals:  Taking my baseball career overseas is an exciting opportunity. Playing in different leagues will expose me to new challenges and competition, helping me grow as a player. Experiencing different cultures and environments will enhance my adaptability both on and off the field. Competing against diverse talent will refine my skills and elevate my game.

My versatility and positive presence make me a valuable asset to teams with limited roster depth. My passion for baseball drives me to seek out new experiences and challenges, and playing overseas is a natural extension of that passion.

Chris Walls

Sault College (2022-24), General Manager

I met Marc in the fall of 2022 while recruiting baseball players to attend Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie. Immediately, I noticed Marc's passion for the sport and excitement to come play up north.
Marc committed to playing at Sault College and spent 2 years as part of our baseball team.

In his time here, he was a tremendous asset to us in numerous roles. On the field, he was our starting shortstop and leading hitter in Year 1, as well as an immediate leader as a freshman.

Year two saw the team continue to grow and even though on the field, Marc went through a few tough spots, his character showed as he battled through and kept his head high. He helped out new recruits adjust to being away from home and was influential in how our team carried themselves off the field as well.

I would characterise Marc as a strong minded leader who isn’t afraid to speak his mind and hold others accountable. He was constantly looking for ways to improve his skill set and ways to make sure he kept himself accountable.

In any form of youth baseball, I would be more than confident Marc would bring that same work ethic and commitment along with a high baseball IQ to the forefront and will have a great impact on the
youth baseball community.

Jayson Eljawhary

Scarborough Stingers, Head Coach

I have known Marc since 2016, when I was coaching 13U Select in West Hill. As one of the youngest kids on the team, Marc was one of our strongest and most mature players. I ended up coaching Marc on and off over the next 5 seasons as an assistant coach with the Scarborough Stingers, with his growth on and off the field accelerating faster as he inched closer to college baseball.

As a Head Coach for the 22U team in Scarborough, I had an opportunity to coach Marc again for the 2023 season, when he once again stood out as one of the team's top players on and off the field. Marc's passion and commitment for baseball is contagious and it constantly brought out the best in his teammates around him. Even as he sometimes endures his own struggles on the field, he is still the first person to pick up his teammates and is always prepared to move forward to the next play.

Anyone looking to add Marc to their roster would be getting a devoted, accountable, intelligent, passionate individual who lives and breathes the game and is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
