Personal

The brightest moments of my career include pitching for Technika Brno, with whom I won the championship in 2011. Then in 2015 coming to the US after a lot of adversity and pitching for D1 Junior College Northwest Florida State College and winning National Championship. In 2014 and 2016 pitching for International Stars team and winning both times Prague Baseball Week, one of the most noted tournaments in Europe. And most recently earning a starting rotation position in my first pro ball experience in the USA.

Since coming to the US, I had to overcome many obstacles and face adversity very often. These times have been really hard, but I have always managed to overcome it and keep going through the difficulties. As many say, I am a tireless worker who loves to face the challenges, but I also make sure I am a great teammate and a leader of any team I am a part of. Baseball is a beautiful sport that has connected me with one of the nicest people I have met, and some of them I call my family now. It has never been just about playing on the field.

Pitching Coach, Oklahoma Panhandle State University

Lukas is a one of a kind player. When looking for a pitcher there are certain things you look for; height, strength, flexibility, etc. Lukas has all of those tools. One of the strongest kids I have ever met and he has the flexibility to go along with it. Very in tune with his body and knows what he needs to do and he gets it done. He is a very hard worker. He was always a guy that I could leave in charge of the other pitchers because I could trust him to get everything done and get it done right. He is very knowledgeable about the game of baseball, specifically from a pitching stand point. As far as him as a person, you won't find another young man with better character traits than Lukas. He is extremely respectful to everyone he meets, he listens, he is coach-able, he is a very good example of what an athlete ought to be.
