Personal

Workhorse pitcher with good feel of 5 pitch mix. 4seam – 84-86 top 89, Cutter – 80-82, Ch 77-79, SL – 75-77, CB 72-74. Often go deep into games and have the ability to get better deeper in games and give the team a good chance to win every game.

Mainly a PO, but can swing the bat if needed. Played short stop and third first year in high school and hit, 3-5 in the lineup. Now I focus on pitching and jump in at third and first in second league to help the team. I am willing to start working on it more if it will help me find a team.

I am a loose and energetic guy that loves to spend time on the field to work out, hang out and help my teammates get better. I am a pitching nerd and love to share that knowledge with teammates to help them improve. I am not the guy that makes a pre game speech for the team but i go out on the field to compete every single time and show by example what hard work and dedication will do. I’m always the guy to ask for extra reps and help with anything, i love helping people.

Career highlights

Senior National team debut in 2023 at 18 years old. Youngest on team
U-18 European Championship Qualifier MVP, Won the tournament in 2023
Two Time MLB European Development Tournament, Chooses by MLB as a top 90 prospect in Europe
4 shut down innings in win vs Switzerland at European Championship 2025

Overseas Goals

I want to take my career overseas because i see it as  a great point in my life to grow both as a player and as a person. Playing in a different country would allow me to compete at a higher level and continue my journey of becoming a better pitcher. I also value the experiences of living abroad. I did a year of Junior College and loved the experience meeting new teammates and seeing different cultures.

Linus is a humble dedicated hardworking baseball player that I’ve known since he was a young teenager. I’ve had the opportunity to follow his development for the last 10 years and Linus is always looking to improve and to grow his game.
He’s a great teammate that always put the team first and always ready to help the team.
He’s been apart of the Swedish National team since 2023 and he is going to be part of Sweden baseball for a long time.

Tony Klarberg

Head Coach, Sweden Academy

I have coached Linus for 3 years at the Sweden Baseball Academy in Leksand, Sweden the years 2021-2024. I have also coached him on the Sweden U18 National Team in 2022 (in Sweden U18-qualifier), in 2023 (in Switzerland U18-qualifier) but also on the Sweden senior National Team in 2023 (in Italy, European Championship). I have also been part of MLB EDT in London when Linus was on the roster in 2023 and 2024. I can honestly say I know a thing or two about Linus…
I think Linus has lots of skills and that he has not reached his potential yet. So if you are willing to take on a player that has great work ethic and is willing to learn more and has more to give, I would say Linus is a great fit.
Linus is working hard to get better at his craft. He is calm and quiet but don’t mistake that for ignorance or that he does not care. He wants to win and he wants to get better. I see him as a pitcher and more of a starter than relief, I don’t see him playing in the field in a more competitive league. He is a great teammate and will give you all he has to give. He is coachable and wants to learn. He has been a PO since age 16/17 when he came to the Academy and he is willing to talk pitching. He could probably teach younger kids pitching if there is youth teams on the club that need pitching coaches.
I highly recommend Linus if you are looking for a young up and coming pitcher with some experience of international baseball. One player that you can see develop as the season progresses.

Head Coach, Leksand Lumberjacks
