Personal
Linda is an impact player offensively, as she hits for high average, a lot of power, and gets on base at a high rate. Her exit velocity off the tee ranges in the mid-90s (mph). During her four-year collegiate career in the U.S., 47 percent of her hits went for extra bases.
Defensively, she is versatile, able to play shortstop, second base, first base the outfielder, so she adds much flexibility to a roster. She has good speed, with times as low as 11.4 seconds (first base to home) and 3.1 seconds (home to first base). The velocity on her throws from the infield ranges in the mid-60s (mph).
Linda adds a lot of energy to club, whether in the clubhouse, on the practice field or during games. She is a vocal leader and focuses on being supportive of team goals. She continues to work out and train regularly to be ready for any opportunity that may arise.
She also has coaching experience at the youth and high-school levels and would be interested in assisting a club’s coaching staff.

Testimonials
I have been involved in college athletics for over 20 years at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Linda was one of the most transformational players to wear a Drexel uniform and one of the best to ever play in the CAA. She immediately gave creditability to our program when she stepped on the field her first season, due to her talent and softball IQ. Throughout her time, Linda’s leadership and work ethic helped elevate the program to a level that has never been seen before at Drexel. Her numbers speak for themselves and she would be a welcome to any lineup.
Linda Rush is your typical 5 tool player. Her raw power is only the tip of the iceberg in evaluating her talent. She is a coach's dream. She can run extremely well and possesses one of the strongest arms of any player that I have ever coached. Linda could play anywhere in the field and her knowledge of the game is exceptional. I was very blessed to have had Linda Rush in my lineup during my tenure at Drexel.
