Personal

Kyler is a good contact hitter with the ability to get on base, as evidenced by his generally high on-base percentages.  He is skilled at going to the opposite field and is also a good bunter.  His exit velocity ranges into the low 90s (mph).

He has good speed, having clocked 6.9 seconds in the 60-yard dash, and he is a good defensive player.  Defensively, he is quite versatile.  He has split time between outfield and catching professionally in the Pecos League, he can also slot into the infield positions. During the 2021 summer league season and in Australia in 22/23 season, he played each infield spot at one time or another.

Kyler describes himself as “a leader who communicates well.   I have good energy on and off the field.  I’m a student of the game so I’m always learning and asking questions to get better. I am a huge team guy, so I will help the team anyway I can.”

He also has experience as an assistant coach with a travel team.
