Tyler Wright

Head Coach Dominguez Hills

Kodi has really matured in his time at Dominguez. He has consistently worked hard to become better at his craft, specifically this last summer. He dropped around 20 pounds and came back in great shape. That combined with his weight room dedication he was able to have a large velocity jump. He went form 83-6 to 86-9, touch 90. His CB and CH are avg. He improved his command a lot during this past Fall and was beginning to solidify a role as a backend bullpen arm prior to the season-ending because of Corona Virus. Kodi is a great teammate and well-liked by his peers. I believe he could compete in a number of different leagues overseas.

Most importantly, I trained Kodi for about 6 months here at CBC. He is a very hard worker, and will definitely fit right into whatever club picks him up. Every time he came into the facility he got better. When we first got him he was sitting mid 80's with average offspeed pitches. After the work he put in he was sitting high 80's, touching 90 with plus offspeed pitches. We also train many of his college teammates, and not one of them has ever said a negative thing about him. Not only will he be a stud overseas, but he will help grow the game in the right way.
