Kevin is a young German pitcher who currently plays for the Mainz Athletics in south-western Germany. He already played as a youth on a very high international level. His first big tournament was the European Championship 2016 (U15). With his team he reached third place. Furthermore, he gained more experience in big international tournaments with the U16 German national team, example given the World Boys Tournament in South Korea and the Pole2Pole exchanges (in 2016/17) in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2017-2019 he also played in the U18 National Team and played tournaments like the MLB Academy Tournament in Barcelona and the U18 European Championship in Italy. He played against teams such as the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
In 2017, Kevin celebrated his Bundesliga debut (highest national level) and has since been active in the Bundesliga squad of the Mainz Athletics where he mostly gains playing experience as a reliever whereas on the national team (U15, U16, U18) he has always been a starting pitcher. Besides pitching in the Bundesliga, Kevin improves his skills by supporting the 2nd Bundesliga as a starting pitcher. The 2nd Bundesliga South is one of the most competitive second divisions in Europe, with many teams importing annually while second teams of larger organizations such as the Regensburg Legionäre and the Heidenheim Heideköpfe feature the top young German talent coming up.
