Kendall is a power hitter that can hit to all fields and does not strike out much.  As a senior, she struck out just 11 times in 126 at bats.  She has good speed that is an asset defensively and on the base paths.

She offers versatility, primarily playing first base and third base but also slotting in at second base and shortstop when necessary.  She has a high softball IQ and excellent overall athletic ability.

Kendall is a very positive, supportive teammate who leads by example and helps the team stay relaxed but focused.  “I pride myself on my work ethic and being able to stay relaxed and confident in high-pressure situations,” she says.  “I enjoy putting in extra work with teammates – both learning from them and sharing knowledge that I’ve gained over the years.”

Kendall also has experience coaching at the youth level and in individual sessions, and she would be interested in helping a team’s coaching staff. She says, “I can communicate effectively and help demonstrate and teach different softball mechanics. Being a well-rounded athlete helps me interact with players learning different positions while maintaining a safe and fun learning environment.

Kendall is a fantastic young woman who loves softball. She played for me in high school and is one of the best players to ever come through our program. She was able to achieve all that she has with obvious natural talent, but she will out work anyone. She was constantly in our cage before and after practice, and on off days. It didn’t matter how early practice was, she was already in the cage when I would arrive. That work ethic is what has given her continued success at every level of ball she has played.
She was an incredible teammate who was able to get along with everyone, and was a natural leader on our team even as a freshman. In her spare time she gives private lessons, holds camps, helps with softball clinics at the local little league, and helps coach a young competitive team. She is a fantastic role model for all of the young players in our community, and goes out of her way to give back to the younger girls. She has done everything in her power to promote softball everywhere she goes, and she will do the same if she continues to get the chance to play the game she loves overseas.
