Personal

As a pitcher, I throw a fastball, changeup, and riseball. My fastball has topped out at 60 mph with an aggressive natural drop, and my changeup sits about 10+ mph slower. My riseball is the pitch I enjoy throwing most because it’s effective both as a strike and as a chase pitch when I’m ahead in the count.
I’m a left-handed hitter with some speed and an intelligent base runner. I usually focus on base hits, but I’m also a confident bunter and willing to slap when needed.

When I’m not pitching, I believe I’m a solid outfielder. I have decent speed and typically get a good read off the bat, which helps me cover ground effectively and make smart defensive plays. Offensively, I’m a versatile hitter, comfortable with hitting for contact and bunting depending on the situation and what my team needs. My ability to contribute both on the mound and in the field makes me a flexible option for any roster, and I’m always willing to step into whatever role helps the team succeed.

Through my experience as a coach, I’ve learned the importance of communication, patience, and supporting others in their development. That’s something I carry with me as a player as well. On a team, I tend to be a calm, steady presence, I lead more by example than by being the loudest voice in the dugout. That said, I’m always willing to step in and help a teammate when needed, whether it’s hopping in the cage to work through a mechanical issue or just offering support and encouragement.

Overseas Goals

I want to take my career overseas because it allows me to continue playing the game I love while also exploring new parts of the world. At home, it’s become more challenging to find consistent opportunities to compete at my level, as many of my teammates are starting families or moving on to other life commitments. I’m not ready to hang up my cleats yet, I believe I still have a few strong seasons left in me, and I’m eager to prove that. Playing overseas would give me the chance to grow as an athlete and experience new competition.

Although I didn’t compete this past summer, I’ve stayed active by participating in other sports throughout the year, including basketball, ringette, and volleyball. In the summer, I usually play softball when we have enough players for a team. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this year, so instead, my sister and I used our town’s batting cages to keep our skills sharp.

I also maintain a fairly consistent gym routine, training 3–6 times per week with a focus on both cardio and weight training to stay in shape. In addition to my own training, I’ve been coaching U17 and U19 teams during the summer, which has allowed me to stay closely connected to the game, continue learning, and support younger athletes in their development.

Her communication style is clear, encouraging, and constructive. Players respond well to her feedback because it’s delivered with respect and a focus on growth. She fosters a positive environment where athletes feel supported and motivated to improve.
