Kali pitches to spots well and has a lot of spin on her pitches to get maximum movement and keep hitters off-balance. She offers some versatility, as she can both start and relieve. In high school, she also worked a lot as a middle infielder and could fill in there, as well.

Kali describes herself as one whose “teammates go to when they are working through a slump and need someone there to help them work through it. I am extremely vocal and love to share my knowledge and perspective.”

Her college coach, Bob Bartel, says Kali “absolutely loves to compete and is a great teammate and mentor. I believe that Kali, if she chooses, would also be a great coach. She’s a teacher by trade, and carries that skill over to the field.”

Kali has not much formal coaching experience but says she has “been working hard with my teammates each year and coaching them in my off time outside of practice. Because of this, I believe in my ability to be a great coach and help youths in every aspect of the game.”

She currently is working in summer camps with youths aged 5-17.

In addition, she is training daily to stay in top condition and keep her skills sharp.

Bob Bartel

Concordia St. Paul Head Coach

Kali would be and is a great ambassador of the game. She absolutely loves to compete and is a great teammate and mentor. I truly believe that Kali, if she chooses, would also be a great coach. She's a teacher by trade and carries that skill over to the field. I would fully recommend Kali in any capacity to any team.
