I care deeply about being more than just a pitcher—I strive to be a complete athlete.
I have the ability to play first base and any of the outfield positions.
Being a natural lefty limits me from playing more infield positions, but I have the skill to catch right-handed pitchers effectively and make accurate throws over medium distances without any issue.
As a left-handed hitter, I have occasional power; I don’t hit home runs often, but I get on base consistently and tend to hit to the opposite field rather than pulling the ball.
I make solid contact and know how to run the bases well.

I am a great athlete and player, highly disciplined, with a wealth of knowledge to share with anyone willing to listen. I am looking for an opportunity to show everything I have to offer. Beyond being a good athlete, I consider myself a person of strong values—respectful to everyone, kind, a natural leader, and always ready to contribute in whatever role I am given. I am the kind of teammate who will join you for early morning mound reps, record your throwing mechanics to help you make adjustments, and guide you in the gym so you can reach your peak performance on the field. I am willing to give my all for the organization that gives me a chance.

Coaching

In the city where I live, my father and I run an academy for boys aged 12 to 18, called Academia Sultanes de Tabasco.
Our main goal is to teach and promote baseball. Some of the boys may have the talent to go far in the sport, while others may eventually choose a different path in life.
Regardless of their direction, we strive to leave a meaningful mark on them—not only in their athletic development but also as individuals. We aim to help them grow into people who do good wherever they go and in whatever they choose to do.

Overseas Goals

I’ve decided that I want to take my career abroad because I truly want to make a living out of this—baseball is my life. I’m willing to travel across the world and be away from my family for the sake of a dream I’ve built over the years through my development in various organizations in Mexico. Opportunities can be hard to come by, but performing well internationally could open doors for me to play in my home country or stay abroad, sharing my knowledge as both a player and a coach.
Because if there’s one thing I love, it’s teaching.

I’ve played throughout the entire year.
I started with spring training for Pericos de Puebla in the Mexican Baseball League (LMB), although I wasn’t part of the roster at the beginning of the season.
During the professional season, I played in the LMB minor leagues, specifically in the Liga Metropolitana de Béisbol Profesional, which is similar to Triple-A in the LMB system. I was part of the Sultanes de Monterrey’s minor league team.
I’ve often been used as a starting pitcher throughout the year, and I’m currently playing in the independent VW League in Puebla, Mexico, with the Industriales de Dolores Hidalgo—a league that features many Latin American players with experience in MiLB, the Cuban National Series, and even the LMB.
I’m fully active and healthy, training at my best under my own program, @JCBaseballPerformance.
